Financial Innovation Lab Speakers Series Event – Digital Assets/Tokenization

CyberIdaho is partnering with Boise State University, Idaho’s Department of Finance (IDOF), and Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) for a Financial Innovation Lab (FIL) Speaker Series Event focusing on digital assets/tokenization and the future of finance on Wednesday, June 18 at 1:00 p.m. in Boise State University’s Jordan Ballroom.
Distributed ledger technology (DLT)/blockchain have the ability to create a more efficient, secure, cost-effective, and inclusive financial system that could offer significant consumer financial benefits. With the digital asset ecosystem reaching a market capitalization of over $3 trillion many experts believe that traditional financial assets such as money, stocks/bonds, and real estate could benefit from digital tokenization on DLT/blockchains, which could potentially represent a $30 trillion business opportunity by 2030. The IDOF FIL Emerging Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC) recently completed research on tokenization and the opportunities it could present for America and the global financial system.
This event will bring together prominent financial and technology experts and speakers will include IDOF Securities Bureau Chief John Yaros, Steven Lupien (University of Wyoming Blockchain and Digital Innovation Center), Conor Carney (Robinhood), Ben Jorgensen (Constellation Networks), Edward Vasko (cyberIdaho), Gaby Dagher (Boise State University), and Jonathan Rufrano (The Digital Chamber).
Snacks will be provided at the venue, and the event will be immediately followed by a reception with event participants. Those interested in attending, can use the following link to register https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tokenization-and-the-future-of-finance-tickets-1364903746849.
